Enthusiastic whispers in the school corridors, lots of after school stay backs to perfect that robot design, hopes of crushing the competition…. Yes, its the season of #CelebrateAvishkaar alright.
For all you science, innovation and robotics aficionados, gather round as #CelebrateAvishkaar is coming to town on 14th & 15th December 2019. There’s a host of activities, workshops, and not to forget the grand finales of two of the hottest robotics & innovation competitions of Asia.
#CelebrateAvishkaar – The Home of Innovation
At this event, you’ll find something to interest you. There’s a lot going on here… Let’s get on with it!
Firstly, there’s the Finale of IRC School League – Asia’s Biggest Robotics Competition. Currently, in its Xth season, IRC School League will mark the culmination of 15+ qualifiers held across various cities and states of the country. Every year, robotics enthusiasts compete against each other, pitting innovative new bots adhering to an overall theme. This year’s theme – ‘Bot Olympics’ focuses on encouraging children to be the best they can be and come up with agile, audacious and resolute robots that can compete in the true Olympian sense. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots that can withstand the trials and tribulations of the elite competition.
Along with this, there’s Avishkaar Makeathon, a competition exclusively for Makers where the Top 100 Innovations created by young innovators will be showcased. Makeathon is a one-of-its-kind competition which aims to promote MAKING in our country at an early age. It is a celebration of science, technology, and art where ambitious students can explore their passions and showcase their dream ideas to the world. This year’s Makeathon features six all-new themes – Agriculture for Zero Hunger, E-Waste Management, Interactive Art for Learning Tools, Personal Safety, Space Colonization and Water Crisis for which young innovators had to come up with ingenious solutions that may prove beneficial for our society.
Be a Part of History – Guinness World Record Attempt
We’re doing something new this year which we’ve never done before. For the first time, you’ll get an opportunity to be a part of something unique. We’re going to attempt to set a Guinness World Record that has never been attempted before. Give us a shout if you’re there and be a party to something that promises to deliver unbridled fun.
Workshops – There’s Something For Everyone!
At #CelebrateAvishkaar, we’ll be conducting a plethora of workshops that your children can take part in. Just to name a few, there will be 3D Printing with 3D pens, Aeromodelling, String Art, Electronics & Coding with Avishkaar Maker Board, AR & VR, Robotics and more!
